Beastly Histories encourages critical thinking around the ways that wild animals, birdlife and fish have histories in the human past. This blog derives from my research in environmental history at the University of Calgary that seeks to better understand how animals and all wild biota have found changing relationships with humanity, particularly in the modernist age.
